About Dave Emory
For more than a quarter century Dave Emory's "For the Record", "Radio Free America" and other radio productions and lectures have presented thoughtful, scruplously documented and vitally important political information and analysis. The sum total of his work constitutes a unique and invaluable body of audio resources for all citizens who want to be informed about the continuing fascist threats, internal and external, to the United States.
Recordings of these programs are available at nominal cost from a tape and disc duplication service called Spitfire. Also, many of the "For The Record" programs are available for free download in RealAudio format from one of the radio stations that presents his work, WFMU in Jersey City, New Jersey. Mr. Emory provides annotated summaries of many of these programs on the Spitfire site.
FTR Summary is an independent project by unaffiliated but dedicated listeners of Mr. Emory's programs. In addition to posting copies of summaries and audio links in blog form, FTR Summary has also created a reading list, with brief summaries and author links, as well as links to electronic versions of some key texts which may be out of print or hard to find.
The information contained in these sites is free, copying and distributing is highly encouraged.
